From tree to finished pen every step takes place in our Cavan workshop. Only Catherine and I are involved in the crafting of this pen. We use Irish Elm in this pen that comes from the midlands of Ireland. The wood is selected by us both to ensure we show the most interesting grain in the finished pen. We take great care in finishing our pens, sanding from 120 grit up to 12,000 grit to achieve a very high shine and hard-wearing finish. There are many handmade pens for sale, but ours we believe are special because of the care and detail we put into every part of the crafting process, only the best Irish woods are used, the turning and finishing must be perfect or we simply start again, we assemble the pens ourselves, we package them and we drive them to the post office to send them to you, this not just a business to us it’s personal, every pen we sell we want our client to be delighted with it……..We have named this pen range after the SPIRE monument on Dublin’s O’Connell street…..The pen can be engraved on the tie clip…..The pen can have a nome, saying or logo printed on the pen body…..The refill is a Cross type ballpoint…..The pen is presented in a velvet double pen case…..We need 3 working days to make the pen for you…..Thanks for taking the time to read this information and we hope you will think of us for that special gift.
